BIOGRAPHY: JOHN ROLLINS

John Rollins enjoyed his best year in terms of earnings in 2007 with more than $2.4 million. He placed second twice, the first in a playoff at the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic and the other at the FBR Open. Rollins also posted a pair of fifth-place ties at the Arnold Palmer Invitational and the Buick Open. Rollins placed in the top 25 an impressive 13 times and made 23 cuts in 29 events.

For his career, Rollins has two PGA Tour victories and 23 finishes in the top 10. He won the Canadian Open in 2002 when he made a birdie on the first extra hole of a three-man playoff with Neal Lancaster and Justin Leonard. He closed that tournament with a 65 in the final round. Rollins captured the 2006 B.C. Open when he rolled in a 6-foot birdie putt on the 72nd hole to beat Bob May by one stroke. His final round of 64 again demonstrated his ability to finish strong. Rollins� other PGA victory came at the 2001 BUY.COM Hershey Open.

One of his career highlights occurred at his first appearance at the Accenture Match Play Championship. He stretched Tiger Woods, the No. 1 seed, to the 18th hole before losing 1-up.

The Richmond, Va., native earned his first PGA Tour card by finishing tied for 16th at the TOUR Qualifying Tournament in 1999. He also won the Virginia State Amateur in 1996 and 1997. He majored in Mass Communications at Virginia Commonwealth University where he also was an honorable mention All-American selection. In his spare time, Rollins loves to play the guitar.
